Things you can do while at work or running errands:
  • Get up and stretch.
  • If your not interacting with others, listen to some music (with headphones).
  • Take a break. Everyone needs a break now and then, and no one can work all the time. Take a little time to yourself.
  • Take deep breaths. When faced with a challenge, this can help, and you can do this wherever you are.
  • Visualize a relaxing place, like a breezy lake by a willow tree or a glistening waterfall. If you can't go there, imagine you are there, and you'll start to feel more relaxed.
